Dear Families and Friends,
We are committed to continuing to provide the first class service you have come to expect from us.
It is important that we take every possible step to ensure funerals still go ahead with the dignity and respect of your loved one. Also with the health and well being of our clients, colleagues and communities.
We have put a number of precautions in place while we learn more about the impact coronavirus has on the services we offer to the families in our care. We are working closely with the government guidelines, Public Health England, NAFD and Government Departments. This is evolving all the time, please feel free to telephone us on 01529 300123 for any guidance. We are still a 24 hour service by telephone, with limited controlled office hours at the moment.
However we do need your help to keep both you and our colleagues safe, we ask that you follow the official government advice. If you’ve:-
- been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected coronavirus
- returned from any foreign country in the past 14 days
- been showing the following symptoms in the past 14 days: a persistent cough, high temperature, a shortness of breath
We ask that you please call our office prior to coming in to see us.
For the moment, our office staff are only meeting with families who have made an appointment to see us.
We thank you from one family to another for your kindness and understanding in these difficult times, please rest assured we are still very much with you every step of the way.
Please contact us for the latest advice.
Colin Ward Funeral Services Ltd | Independent Funeral Directors.
You may be reading this because you’ve just lost a loved one and are naturally wondering where to turn for help. That is why we are here: to give you the advice and guidance you need on every aspect of the organisation of a funeral, from the initial contact to the day of the funeral and often beyond. Our family wants to be there for your family.
Our services to you start when you contact us, and extend often way beyond the day of the funeral. On initial contact we will ask for preliminary details. Wherever the death has occurred, we will arrange for your loved one to be conveyed to our private chapel of rest. We would then ask, at a time and place to suit the Family, for the funeral director to call and arrange the funeral.
Please see this as the start of the support and advice you can expect from Colin Ward Funeral Services Ltd.
This is our commitment to you.
